It's been five years since the invasion of Iraq. At least 82,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed and some measurements reach as high as 600,000. Millions have been displaced. Over 4,000 coalition casualties have been counted.

There's been a good deal of hype about Louis Theroux's new show on BBC 2. Most of this hype has centered around his latest episode entitled "The Most Hated Family in America" - a documentary about Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas (you know, the "God Hates Fags" crew...those lovely, lovely individuals).

An article today in the New York Times entitled "Did the Red Sea Part? No Evidence, Archaeologists Say" mentions that archaeologists have found no evidence for the biblical "exodus" of the Jews from slavery in Egypt, led by Moses.
